James A. Bradshaw, age 93 of Shelton, formerly of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Mary Prior Bradshaw, passed away on August 24, 2018 in Bishop Wicke Health Center, Shelton. James was born on June 27, 1925 in Alikchi, Oklahoma to the late John T. and Eula (Belyeu) Bradshaw and has been a long-time area resident. He was veteran of WWII, proudly serving the United States Marine Corp in the South Pacific and ultimately retiring from the United States Navy, having attained the rank of Master Chief. James earned a BS from Sacred Heart University. He was a retired engineer for Sikorsky Aircraft, with over twenty-five years of service. Survivors include his devoted children, James M. Bradshaw and his wife Suzanne of Greenwich, Connecticut, Mary Jane D'Amato and her husband Cyrus of San Diego, California, and Patricia Shaw of Janesville, Wisconsin, 5 cherished grandchildren, Peter, James, Bernard, Mary Kathleen, and Joseph. The Bradshaw family would like to thank the staff of Crosby Commons for their kindness and the loving care given to their father.   Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral –Stratford.
