Jacqueline Adele Wallace, nee Alechnowicz, was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on June 9, 1936. On October 17, 2025, she went home to be with Jesus.
She was the daughter of Stanley and Amelia (Lesiak) Alechnowicz. Jackie attended Warren Harding High School and received both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Bridgeport. She later continued her education and received a MBA from Sacred Heart University. Jackie began her career as a medical technologist at Norwalk Hospital and then for 25 years worked as a supervisor in the Pathology Department at Park City Hospital. When the hospital closed, she returned to Norwalk Hospital as the Chief Laboratory Technologist. When she was still in high school, she met the love of life, Jack Wallace. They were married for 36 years.
Her proudest and most significant accomplishment was being a mother to John and Michael and a grandmother to Caroline and Jack. She will best be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and caring friend. She was cheerful and had a keen sense of humor. She is predeceased by her husband, Jack and her son, John. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Michael, his wife Lydia, her grandchildren Caroline and Jack and her cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. meeting directly at St. Theresa Church 5301 Main Street Trumbull. All other services are private.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
