Irene F. Svertesky Martin age 91 of Stratford passed away on Wednesday November 19, 2008 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Martin, an avid lover of music was born in Bridgeport to the late Henry and Flora (Ott) Svertesky and has been a life long area resident. She was a retired Executive Secretary for the YMCA-Bridgeport. Survivors include her beloved daughter Diane Hellyar and her husband Merrick, 2 nieces Jane Fugiero and Mary Holloway and a great-nephew Mark Holloway.
