Irene Krolides (née Feltovich), November 25, 1922-November 12, 2015: Irene was raised on a large family farm in Monroe. As the town grew, so did her accomplishments and dreams. Irene simultaneously built a successful career in banking, nurtured a strong marriage with her husband, Charles John, and together with him raised their son, Charles Michael. She enjoyed the love of her husband for 56 years and watched her son grow and excel with tremendous pride. Irene thrived at work and in living her life, boldly demonstrated that you can "do it all" with purpose and determination. Her eventual move to Florida proved to be a fulfilling adventure complete with new friends, volunteering, and travels. Irene returned to her native Connecticut five years ago. She used each of her years well, living gregariously and making a unique impact on the world that will continue to be remembered by her son Charles M. Krolides, grandsons Andrew E. Krolides and Ayrton P. Haddad, daughter-in-law Wendy A. Krolides, nieces, nephews, and countless other family members and friends all of whom she loved. Irene's family may be greeted at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford on Monday, November 16th from 4-7pm.
