Ida "Chow" Dolin, age 71, of Bridgeport, died Thursday, August 3, 2006 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Fred and Omie Barker, she has been a life long area resident. Survivors include a son Barry Barker and his wife Lois of Martinsville, VA; a daughter Debra K Buonincontra and her husband Robert of Shelton; 2 grandsons Bradley Joseph and Jeffrey Robert Barker; 2 great-granddaughters Kayla and Madison Barker; 2 sisters Marie Kelley of Milford and Edith Safford of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews. Ida was predeceased by a sister Corrine Kinder and 6 brothers: Ray Barker, Basil Barker, Leonard "Toots" Barker, James "Giggs" Barker, James "Junebug" Barker and James Barker. Friend may greet the family from 4-7 pm on Sunday, August 6, 2006. Prayer services will be held at 6:40pm with the Dr. Rev. Robert Genevicz officiating in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, CT 06614. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
