After bravely facing four years of battling cancer, Hiedi peacefully passed away on November 23, 2025. She was born on March 13, 1964. She is survived by her loving parents, Ferenc (Frank) and Julia Nyitrai of Trumbull, her sister, Jennifer and husband Joseph Cave of Virginia, her brother Daniel and wife Julianne Nyitrai and their three children, Dan, Jessica and Jacob of Trumbull, and her uncle, Harold Stultz of Maryland.

Hiedi’s accomplishments were an inspiration to other challenged individuals. Through the years, Hiedi was such an angel to many which society often does not think about. The illness really took that from her. Now she can get back to that work as an angel in heaven.

She attended Bridgeport Public Schools and graduated Central High School. She got her Associate’s at Housatonic Community College, Bachelor’s at Western Maryland College and her Masters at Southern Connecticut State University.

Hiedi was employed by Kennedy Center, Corporate Offices at Goodwill Industries and was an adjunct professor at Housatonic Community College.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, at 11:00 am, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 5995 Main Street, Trumbull, CT. Burial will be in Maryland. The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the arrangements
