Herta Roth Iwanow, age 87 of Stratford passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2006 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Iwanow, a retired employee of the University of Bridgeport dining hall was born in Odessa, Russia to the late Heinrich and Kate Roth and had emigrated to Germany and then Brazil before arriving in the United States in 1960, she was the widow of Oleksa Iwanow. She is survived by her beloved daughters Valentina May and her husband Stephen and Elene Bonetti and her husband Kenneth all of Stratford her 4 grandchildren Tamara Bileca and her husband William, Christina Bugarchich, Dara and Robert Bonetti a great-grandson William Bileca and a sister Lilly Mueller of Canada. A memorial service will take place on Saturday July 1, 2006 in the Lordship Community Church 179 Prospect Dr Stratford at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. The family requests that calling hours be omitted. The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
