Henryetta (Browne) Burr, beloved wife of the late Theodore S. Burr, passed away peacefully November 23, 2006 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. She was born September 3, 1912 and was a Connecticut resident most of her life. She resided in Tucson AZ for thirty years then returned to Stratford, Connecticut in 2003. She is survived by her devoted daughters Esther B. Kmetzo of Stratford and Kathleen B. Bancroft and her husband, Glenn of Escondido, CA, her daughter-in-laws, Irene K. Burr of Charleston, SC and Cynthia Burr Ashworth of Granby, CT; ten grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren whom she cherished. She was predeceased by her three sons Theodore S. Burr, Jr., Jon D. Burr, Robert J. Burr, her son-in-law William R. Kmetzo and her grandson Dr. Richard W. Kmetzo. Henny was a devoted, loving and caring mother, grandmother and a very special friend to many. She dedicated her life to the concerns of others always giving of herself to everyone who knew her. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Atria of Stratford Assisted Living, the Third Floor staff at Lord Chamberlain and the Hospice caregivers who comforted her with their compassion, loving care and concern. Calling hours have been omitted and her internment will be private. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will take place at a time to be announced.
