Helene was born on October 15, 1949, in Bridgeport, CT to parents Frank and Helen Mancini, (née Bizewski). She grew up in Bridgeport, CT and lived there for most of her life until she met Luke in 1992. After a few years of living together in New Jersey, they decided to get married and move to Florida where she lived until her death.

Luke has many memories of day trips riding on his Gold Wing motorcycle, traveling to Las Vegas, and cruising with Helene. She and Luke have been together for over 30 years.

While living in Florida, Helene worked for Wyndham Resorts for many years, then went into semi-retirement as a medical transcriptionist until full retirement.

While living in Connecticut she worked for Attorney Salvatore DePiano and his associates in Bridgeport, CT, and adored her time and colleagues there. In her younger years, she worked at the family restaurant, Mancini's Place, in Stratford, CT. The restaurant was known as a feel-good, home-style place with excellent food, and their customers remained loyal due to being welcomed as family.

Helene has three daughters, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Cynthia Mihalchick (Joseph) and their children Colby (Jessica), Molly, and Kelsey Mihalchick, and great grandchildren, Lillian, Joseph-James, Alessandra, and Jettson Mihalchick of South Carolina. Amy Cairns (Fred) and their children Jessica, Cody, and Caitlyn (Nick) of Trumbull, CT. And Jenna Duford (Mike, Sr.) and their children David, Jr. (Gabby), Kaley (Alvyn), and Corbin Cass, Mike, Jr., Jake, and Shea Staunton of Bridgeport and Seymour, CT, and Buffalo, NY.

Helene is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Buglione (Paul) of Stratford, CT, and her brother Frank Mancini (Carol) of North Carolina. Recently predeceased by her sister Suzette Bridgewater (Thomas,d). Many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She also had a special relationship with the Tomlinson's: Edward, Jr., Christopher, Brandy, and Jonathan. Helene had many beloved pets who have predeceased her as well including Jesse, JJ, Paws "Pawser cat", and Augie "Augie doggie". Her cat Joey Boy followed her soon after.
