Helen Strich, age 87, of Bridgeport, passed away on January 27, 2019 in Bridgeport Hospital. Helen was born in Bridgeport on August 9, 1931 to the late Nicholas and Susan (Piatak) Strich and has been a lifelong area resident. She was retired from Remington Rand. Survivors include her friend and caretaker, Elizabeth Shuck of Bridgeport, sister, Irene Kalina and her husband Andrew of Huntington, sister-in-law, Edith Strich of Stratford, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Helen was pre-deceased by her brothers, Michael, George and John, and sister, Mary Krisno. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, January 31 ^st at 11 am in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with the Rev. David Cochran officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 10 – 11 a.m.
