Helen Botsko Rozdil, age 95, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Andrew Rozdil, passed away on April 17, 2017 in Maefair Health Center, Trumbull. Helen was born in Bridgeport to the late Michael and Mary (Orlovski) Botsko and has been a life long area resident. She was retired from AVCO-Lycoming. Helen was a lifetime member of the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist in Bridgeport, and their Mothers and Daughters Club, and Seniors. She was also a member of the Azalea Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include her devoted daughters, Janet Moltzan and her husband Herbert of Texas, and Susan Ziman and her husband Douglas of Stratford, 2 cherished granddaughters, Cynthia De Caprio of Branford and Charlene Ziman of Stratford, 2 great-grandsons, Andrew and Niko, a sister, Ann Belejack of Wallingford, a brother, Robert Botsko and his wife Alice of Stratford, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Helen was predeceased by her brothers, John and Michael Botsko. The Rozdil family would like to thank the staff of Maefair HCC for their kind and loving care. Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 21 ^st at 8:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 9 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist 364 Mill Hill Ave Bridgeport for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in Helen's memory to St. John's Church.
