Helen C. Mihalik Potasky, age 98, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Joseph Potasky, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in her home. Mrs. Potasky, a retired clerk for First National Supermarket, was born in Bridgeport to the late John and Mary Mihalik Sr. and has been a long time area resident. Survivors include her devoted children Joseph Potasky of Shelton, and Ellie Stewart and her husband James of Florida, 3 grandchildren Lori DeClement, Linda Coscia and her husband Carmen, and Eric Stewart and his wife Amy, 5 great-grandchildren Daniel, Adam, Nicole, Milissa, and Ryan, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was pre-deceased by her brother John Mihalik Jr, and sisters Margaret Lemanski and Eleanor Santulli. Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 3rd at 11 a.m in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 10-11 a.m.
