Helen Naperkowski Panuczak, age 94, of Stratford, the widow of Martin Panuczak, passed away peacefully on Sunday September, 30, 2012 in St. Vincent's MC, while her devoted granddaughter and caregiver Danielle held her as she joined her family in Heaven. Helen, a retired assembler for Bryant Electric/Westinghouse, was born in Bridgeport and has been a life long area resident. She was a member of the Polish Falcons and the Ladies Guild at St. Michael's Church. Helen devoted her life to her family, and her greatest joy was loving and caring for all of them. Survivors include her devoted daughter-in-law Alexandra Panuczak of NH, her cherished grandchildren, Jamie Smith and his wife Lizz of Derby, Danielle Smith and her partner Charles Corey, Michelle Charney and her husband Brian all of Stratford, Laura Lee and her husband Jeff of NH, Sandra Cerussi and her husband Andy of MA, and Jeanne Panuczak, of CO, 8 great-grandchildren Alexander, James, Emma, Jeffrey, Connor, Ryan, Mia, and Cameron, 2 sisters Jadzia Shokite and her husband Richard of Stratford, and Jessie Kacmarcik of Bridgeport, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, she was pre-deceased by her son Richard Panuczak, and daughter Carol Griz. Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 5th at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 310 Pulaski Street, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev Stefan Morawski. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Milford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7pm.
