Helen C. Mizia, age 98, beloved wife of the late August Mizia, formerly of Trumbull, passed away on May 26, 2023, in Carrollton, Virginia.

Helen was born in Bridgeport on November 4, 1924, to the late John and Anna (Kraynak) Caco and had been a lifelong area resident. She was retired from the Bank of New England.

Survivors include her devoted children, James Mizia and his wife Cindy and Gary Mizia and his wife Sylvia all of Florida, and Marianne Harter and her husband Thomas of Tennessee, 2 cherished grandchildren, Gary Raytar and Christina Caudillo and her husband Ronald Wilson.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 11:00 AM at St Catherine of Siena Church 200 Shelton Rd, Trumbull, CT. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
