Helen Sabol Marcin, age 100, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late John Marcin, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Lord Chamberlain Health Center, Stratford. Mrs. Marcin was born on February 11, 1917 in Slavkovce, Slovakia to the late John and Mary (Rusnak) Sabol and has been a local resident since 1966. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church, Stratford. Survivors include her devoted daughter, Terezia Beres and her husband Dr. Milan Beres of Trumbull, 2 cherished grandsons, Stephen Beres, and Milan Beres Jr and his wife Bernadette. In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was pre-deceased by her brother, Stephen Sabol, and sister, Maria Kadilak. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 13 ^th meeting at 10 a.m. directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church 1950 Barnum Ave Stratford. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours. The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
