Helen J. Lutheran, age 91, of Stratford, CT., beloved wife of the late Philip B. Lutheran, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, in her home with her family by her side. Helen was born in Bridgeport on May 30, 1932, to the late John and Mary (Muchichka) Kirlik and had been a longtime area resident. She was a graduate of Warren Harding High School.  After raising her 3 sons, she returned to the work force as an administrative assistant for Defense Contract Management Command at both Avco Lycoming and Sikorsky Aircraft until her retirement.

She enjoyed traveling with the St. Mark travel group, family trips to Disney World, playing bingo and spending time with her granddaughters and grand dogs Dallas and Riley. Helen was also a member of the St. Mark choir and ladies guild for many years. Helen was an avid reader, a good listener which fostered many friendships.

Survivors include her devoted sons, Blase Lutheran of Stratford, Todd Lutheran and his wife Mary Jane of Stratford, Jeffrey Lutheran and his wife Jenifer of Shelton, 3 cherished granddaughters, Carley, Courtney and Megan, a sister, Mary Jordan and many Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Julia Kirlik, her brother William Kirlik, brother-in -law John Jordan as well as several other brothers & sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. We would like to thank caregiver Cislyn Tucker for taking great care of Mom in her final days.

Friends may visit with Helen's family on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 4-7 P.M. at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, CT.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 10 A.M. meeting directly at St. Mark Church 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, CT. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe.
