Helen Mariam (Borodack) Halkovic, age 100 died on Thursday, January 18th, 2024, of natural causes at her home in Titusville, FL.

A native of Bridgeport, CT, Helen was born June 9, 1923. An avid golfer, card, and slot player, she retired from the General Electric Co. and then worked for the Town of Windsor Locks, CT before moving to Florida. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 65 years Stephen Halkovic Sr., her parents, George and Anna Borodack, her brothers, Henry and George Borodack, and her sister, Anna Mae Dragone.

Helen is survived by her sons, Stephen Halkovic Jr, George Halkovic and daughter-in-law, Kristin Halkovic, her sisters, Margaret Miterko and Dorothy Daymonde.  Helen and Steve have four grandchildren: Stephen Halkovic III, Anne Thompson, Alexis Halkovic, and Jake Halkovic, along with three great grandchildren Julia, Mirabelle, and Artemisia.

Visitation on Monday, January 29th, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford.

A Requiem Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Bridgeport. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford
