Helen M. Pavlowski Bronko, age 97, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Walter E. Bronko Sr., passed away on July 13, 2017 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Helen, a retired assembler for Raybestos was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on January 25, 1920 to the late John and Mary (Malecki) Pavlowski and has been a long time area resident. She enjoyed traveling, boating and spending time at her summer home at Patchaug Pond in Jewett City. Survivors include her devoted son, Walter E. Bronko Jr., and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Helen was pre-deceased by her brothers, Stanley, Leo, Henry and Anthony Pavlowski, and sisters, Mary Luba, Jean Drozdick, Eleanor Mancini, and Beatrice Bozyn. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 18 ^th at 8:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 9 a.m. in St. James Church 2070 Main St Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will be in St. Michael's Chapel Mausoleum. Friends may greet her family on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
