Helen Ann (Zalutko) Beckage, 96, was born in Peckville, PA on December 30, 1925. She married Michael Beckage in 1950 and settled in Fairfield in 1952. Michael preceded her in death.

Helen retired from Van Doren North Fairfield Geriatric Center as the Director of Building Services.  She was a member of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church Ladies Guild and Choir, Sikorsky 1150 Retirees Club, and Holy Family Senior Club. She loved playing cards, cooking for her family and spending time with her friends. She was an inspiration to all of us.

She was preceded in death by her four sisters, Marie Fedrick, Dorothy Dzwonczyk, Mildred Olp, and Ruth Scalsky and her son-in-law, Barry Bowers.

She is survived by her son, Michael Beckage (Washougal, WA); daughter, Barbara Holahan (Fairfield); son-in-law, Paul Holahan; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Beckage; three grandchildren, Michael Bowers (Fairfield), Cayley Bowers (Fairfield), Nicole Beckage (Portland, OR), several nieces and nephews and special friend, Dan Faulkner (Fairfield).

The family would like to recognize the staff at JSS and Hospice for their compassionate care.

A Divine Liturgy Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 22 ^nd at 10 a.m. meeting directly at St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church 100 St. John's Drive Trumbull.
