Halina P. Prancuk, age 68, of Trumbull, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Halina, a retired Nurses Aide for Maefair Health Care Center, was born in Poland to the late Antoni and Feliksa (Zaniewska) Prancuk and has been a long time area resident. She was a member of St. Mark's Church in Stratford and their Adoration Chapel Guild and the Divine Mercy Senacle, she was also a CCD teacher at Our Lady of Grace Church. Halina was and avid fan of the NY METS, and U-Conn Women's Basketball, she attended all of her nieces and nephews sporting events, and was their Biggest Fan. Survivors include her devoted sisters, Elizabeth Wolosiewicz of Shelton, and Margie Collins and her husband Kevin of Stratford, her cherished nieces and nephews, Mark Prancuk(Dawn), Chris Prancuk (Anna), Daniel Prancuk, Josh Prancuk (Dawn), Matt Prancuk (Katie), Diana Hunter (Dave), Joanne Smeraglino (Joe), Will and Brendan Collins, and 15 great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Halina was pre-deceased by her brothers John and Leon, 2 infant brothers and an infant sister, and her brother-in-law Henry Wolosiewicz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 30th at 10 a.m. meeting directly at St. Mark Church 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford. Inurnment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
