Gloria Anna Sanwald, age 81, of Milford, the beloved widow of Robert J. Sanwald, passed away in her home with her loving family by her side on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Born in Bridgeport on May 20, 1941 to the late Peter and Anna (Petrashka) Terasowich, she has been a lifelong Milford resident. Gloria was a retired manager for Kmart and previously worked in Howland's Department Store. She was always found working the Polls in Milford every election day. She is survived by her devoted children, Kurt Sanwald and his wife Julie of Milford and Keith Sanwald and his wife Veronica of Stratford, her cherished grandchildren, Abby and Jacob Sanwald, Benjamin Fusco, Samantha and Melanie Sanwald, her brothers, Peter Terasowich and his wife Diane of Milford, Thomas Terasowich and his wife Kris of Monroe, a sister, Cindy Terasowich and her husband Dick Harvey of Shelton, a niece, Reagan Carroll and her husband Dan and a great nephew, Sterling. The family would like to thank the staff of Milford Hospital and the CT Hospice for the wonderful care given to Gloria. Friends may greet her family on Tuesday, May 31 from 4-7 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A prayer service will take place on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford
