Gloria R. Anthony Milositz, age 82, of Cheshire, formerly of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Joseph J. (Jack) Milositz Sr., passed away on April 8, 2017 surrounded by family. Gloria, was born on November 29, 1934 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to the late Earl and Alice Anthony.Gloria had been a long time Stratford resident. before retiring from Sikorsky Aircraft after twenty-five years of service. Survivors include her devoted children, Joseph J. Milositz Jr. of Cheshire, Paul R. Milositz and his wife Linda of Florida, Linda Milositz Izzo and her husband Paul of Shelton, and Karen Mercurio and her husband Daniel, of South Meriden, 6 cherished grandchildren, Joseph J. Milositz III and his wife Katherine, Sandra Milositz, Benjamin Milositz and his wife Rachel, Daniel Mercurio Jr., Amy Izzo and Lindsey Mercurio, and a great-granddaughter, Olive Milositz. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Gloria was pre-deceased by her brother, Richard E. Anthony and daughter-in-law, Susan Cartiglia Milositz. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 20 ^th at 9:45 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church 2070 Main St Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford.
