Glenn Daniel (Smith) Cacavollia Sr, age 48, of North Haven, a self employed custom cabinet maker, fabricator and designer and beloved husband of Gretal (Johannesen) Cacavollia, passed away suddenly in his home on Thursday, September 12, 2013. Born in Bridgeport on September 16, 1964 to Barbara Litecky and the late David Laird, he has been a life long area resident. Glenn was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Yankees and golf fan. Glenn's greatest treasures were his wife, children and grandchildren. In addition to his beloved wife survivors include his devoted children, Natalie Cacavollia of North Haven, Lindsay Provenzano and her husband Paul of Trumbull, Glenn Cacavollia Jr of Stratford and Sarah Scheck and her husband Brian of Stratford, his parents Anthony and Barbara Cacavollia of Stratford, two grandchildren Joseph and Kaylie Provenzano, two sisters Diane Zello and her husband Louis of West Haven and Eileen Laird also of West Haven, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with the Reverend John Collins officiating. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7PM.
