Gilberto Valentin age 76 of Stratford passed away on Friday November 20, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mr. Valentin, a retired machinist for Heim Bearings Inc was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico to the late Ruperto and Rosa Valentin and has been a long time area resident. He was an avid Yankee fan and was so happy to see the Yankees win their 27th World Championship before he died. Survivors include his beloved wife Gloria, his devoted children Robert and Millie all of Stratford 2 cherished granddaughters Alexis and Abigail. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday November 24th at 10:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 11a.m. in St. Mark Church Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Monroe.
