Gilbert S. Chin, age 64, of Fairfield, passed away on October 3, 2018 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Gilbert was born in New York City on July 31, 1954 to the late Gee Sing Chin and Yao Qun Lee.  He was a long time area resident. He was a desktop support technician for People's United Bank where he was highly regarded for his technical skills and good nature. Gil enjoyed reading and movies and was a talented artist. He was kind, generous, and quiet, with an excellent sense of humor – his one liners were famous! Gil will be sorely missed by his many friends. Survivors include his brother, Frank Chin and his wife Norma of New York, sister, Mabel Ayotte and her husband Dean of California, and his dear friend and care partner, Terri DeRiso and her husband David Marsh of Stratford.

Friends may greet Gilbert's family on Thursday, October 25 ^th from 5- 7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
