George M. Liscinsky II, age 66, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest at his home on January 27, 2023.

Born in Bridgeport on July 3, 1956 to the late George and Frances (Stulas) Liscinsky, he was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Bullard Havens Technical High School. He began his career in a TV repair shop, which spurred his lifelong inability to let anyone throw away any household electronics because he could always fix it. Later, his electrical engineering background allowed him to transition to working with emerging technologies for Wall Street trading companies, including Shearson and JP Morgan, before starting his own consulting company and working with a variety of software and business continuity companies up until his death.

When he wasn't working, George could be found sailing at the Ischoda Yacht Club, Port 5 Yacht Club, or the East End Yacht Club where he was a member of the board. He also served on the board of directors at the German Schwaben Society and was a member of the VFW Post 9460 in Stratford. He loved playing his guitars, spending time with his many friends and family members, and enjoying walks along the sea wall in Stratford.

He is survived by his beloved children, Rachel Sopko and her husband Daniel of Oakville, George M. Liscinsky III and his dog Kito of Virginia, and Erica Liscinsky of West Haven, as well as his cherished grandson, Nathan, sisters, Cheryl Ball and her husband Michael of Monroe, Janice (Janny) A. Liscinsky of Deep River, Patricia (Patty) F. Liscinsky of Shelton, nieces Alisha Liscinsky and Taija Liscinsky of San Francisco, and nephews David Ball of Boston, and Jonathan Ball and his wife Connie of Rhode Island.

Friends and family may visit on Monday, February 6 ^th from 4-7 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. All other services and interment will be private.
