George Komarowsky, age 93, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Ruth Komarowsky, passed away on August 24, 2022, in his home. George was born in Bridgeport on August 15, 1929, to the late Nicholas and Mary Komarowsky and has been a lifelong area resident. He was a retired manager for Avco-Lycoming. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 68 years, include his devoted children, Donna Sheftic and her husband William of Trumbull, Sherri Komarowsky and her husband Alan Will of New Milford, Gary Komarowsky of Beacon Falls, and David Komarowsky of Florida, 11 grandchildren, Kristen Stone (Jeffrey) of Shelton, Timothy Oppel (Johanna), of Shelton, Sarah Bordas (Attila)  of Naugatuck, Gregory Oppel of Shelton, Allison St. Germain (Aric) of Shelton, Andrea Vanderpol (Chris) of Folsom, California, Nicholas Komarowsky of Beacon Falls, Daniel Komarowsky of Florida, James Komarowsky (Jana) of Colorado, Nichole Everett of Massachusetts, Benjamin Komarowsky of New Milford and 18 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Stacey. Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, August 31 ^st from 11a.m.-12 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. There will be a prayer service at 11:45 a.m. followed by Inurnment in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull.
