– Genevieve Chludzinski Peterson, age 79 of Stratford, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday October 25, 2006 at Connecticut Hospice Branford. Mrs. Peterson widow of Harold F. Peterson was the daughter of the late Stacia and Telespor Chludzinski. A true "Southie" she was born in Boston, MA and resided there and in Dorchester for 42 years before moving with her husband and four children to Stratford in 1968. "Gen" was a loving wife and mother who spent her entire life devoted to the care and upbringing of her family by instilling a spectrum of gifts like family values, wisdom, compassion and a love of nature and the environment. In addition to her husband and parents she was also pre-deceased by her brother Edward Chludzinski of Dorchester. She will be sadly missed by her 3 sons Eric Peterson of Stratford, Mark Peterson (Monica) of Shelton and Douglas Peterson (Brenda) of Seymour and by her daughter Susan O'Sullivan (Daniel) of Stratford. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Nicole Walker (Marshall), Jessica Peterson, Kurt Peterson, Carl Peterson, Daniel Peterson, Timothy O'Sullivan, and Neil O'Sullivan and by her only great-grandchild Lilliana Genevieve Walker. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday October 30th at 9:45 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Union Cemetery Stratford.
