Gail L. Yates, age 75, of Stratford, beloved wife of Thomas Yates, passed away suddenly on January 14, 2025.

Gail was born in Bridgeport on March 27, 1949, to the late George and Ruth (Kovac) Semancik and had been a lifelong area resident. Survivors in addition to her beloved husband of 41 years, include her devoted daughter, Sandra Rylander and her husband David, son, Daniel, 4 grandchildren, Ashe, Michael, DJ and Stephanie, sisters, Ruth Bentley (George) and Lisa Semancik (Michele Sampiere), nephews, George Bentley (Kristen), and Evan Bentley (Christina), 3 great-nephews and one great-niece, uncle, William Kovac and his wife Josephine, aunt, Mary Carey, and several cousins.

Gail was deeply devoted to her family and will be greatly missed. The Yates family would like to thank the Stratford Fire Department and EMS for their kind and compassionate care.

A gathering for Gail will take place on Thursday, January 30th from 10 a.m. -12p.m.in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Pl Stratford.
