IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frank Michael
Tricarico
June 26, 1943 – August 6, 2018
Frank Michael Tricarico, age 75, beloved husband of Geraldine Banek Tricarico and father to his devoted children, Nikki Tricarico, Gabriella Feinstein and Michael Tricarico, passed away peacefully on the evening of August 6, 2018 in Fairfield County, CT. In addition to his wife of 49 years and children; Frank is survived by son-in-law Rick Feinstein, daughter-in-law Kate Tricarico, 3 cherished grandchildren: Liam, Ryan and Max, his sisters Toni Altman, Mary Lou Kadi and Michele Seidel, their husbands and several nieces and nephews.
Frank was born June 26,1943 in the Bronx, New York to the late Michael and Philomena (Faye) Tricarico. A graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Frank worked for 35 years for Foster Wheeler Energy Corp, retiring in 2006 as a Consortium Director responsible for the engineering, procurement and supervision of two 350MW power plants in China. Frank's career accomplishments led to multiple promotions over the years, affording the family moves from Chester, NJ to Hong Kong to Laguna Niguel, CA, back to Hong Kong and finally to Easton, PA and Shelton, CT. Frank was most proud of the construction, execution and management of a high technology manufacturing plant in the Guangdong Province employing thousands of people and negotiating multiple contracts with the People's Republic of China.
In his spare time, Frank was an extremely talented and creative wood and metal craftsman. He was also an accomplished designer and creator of beautiful stained glass windows and lamps. He loved being in his workshop surrounded by his tools working on a new project. Frank could fix, rewire, build, repair, paint, construct or refinish anything and everything; his wide spanning talents kept each home in which his family lived in perfect working order and full of unique, handcrafted touches. Frank loved traveling and could always be counted on to find the best restaurant (despite their outward appearance), or location in every town he visited. His love of travel and adventure brought his family around the globe and back again. He was a gifted cook, refining and updating recipes passed down from his Mother and often creating ones of his own inspired by places he visited. Frank loved the beach, warm weather, seafood and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed reading and playing golf. Above all, Frank was a true family man and was happiest surrounded by his family just celebrating the simple fact that they were together. Frank was strong in spirit and love with a unique charm, sarcastic wit and a genuine bright smile.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 18th at 11am meeting directly at St. Margaret Mary Church 50 Donovan Lane in Shelton, CT. Interment will be private but an informal "Remembrance" reception will be held at The Tricarico residence immediately following Mass and all are invited to attend.
