Frank Michael Ricci, age 97, went home to God to be with his sweetheart and devoted wife Mary. He was born on Halloween 1908 on a ship entering Ellis Island. A devoted and hardworking husband, father and grandfather he is survived by his caring family which includes a son William Rich and his wife Mary of Seymour, a daughter Mary Perille and her husband Michael of Stratford and a grandson John Bognar of Stratford. Frank has seen so many changes in the world with new inventions however he loved the earth – God's Bounty – gardening and simpler times. He worked from age 12 and didn't stop till he was in his 70's to then accompany his wife to the Baldwin Center where pool playing sparked his interest as well as hand constructing detailed match boat models from scratch. He had a love of Italian music, Sunday spaghetti dinners, drawing and playing his guitar. Having served in World War #2 in the U.S.Navy and retiring from Parke-Davis he had many good years of retirement. Besides his children and grandson he is survived by a brother Guido Ricci. Frank is pre-deceased by his wife Mary. His first born daughter Irene and her husband Laszlo Bognar, many brothers and sisters and friends. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 .A.M. in St John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10-11:00 A.M. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford.
