Frank Louis Ceccarelli, age 92, of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Evelyn Witalis Ceccarelli, passed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2016 with his loving daughter Joyce by his side. He was born on August 31, 1923 in Bridgeport to Anthony and Rose Ceccarelli, and lived his entire life in Stratford. Frank proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp and is a WWII Veteran. He worked for over fifty years for Grant manufacturing Company of Bridgeport. He was an avid New York Yankee fan and Frank Sinatra fan, and his favorite song was "My Way" which is how he lived his life. Frank is survived by his son, Richard Ceccarelli and his wife Kathryn of Moorestown, NJ, his daughter, Joyce Ceccarelli of Stratford, his grandsons, Brian and Michael Ceccarelli, great-grandchildren, Chase and Hannah Ceccarelli. He also leaves behind 2 sisters, Esther Royal and Margaret Anderson as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to especially thank Frank's devoted caregiver, Eleanor Williams, as well as all of the caretakers and support staff who assisted him in his last years of life. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 9th at 10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Frank's beloved nephew, Monsignor Kevin Royal. Interment with full Military Honors will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
