Frank Bepko, 96, of Orange, formally a resident of Stratford, CT, for 68 years, passed away at home Friday, February 17, 2023.
He was the devoted husband of the late Linda Bepko for 59 years. Frank was born on August 21, 1926, in Bridgeport, CT. He was the son of the late Michael Sr. and Anna Bepko. He was the father of Mark (Debbie) Bepko of Portland, CT and Deborah (Anthony) Finch of Orange. He was the loving grandfather of Amber Bagocius, Ivory Urban, Christopher and Rachel Bepko, and predeceased by Christina Bepko. He was the loving great-grandfather of Conrad, Bryson, and Ashton Urban and Zachary Bepko. He was the beloved companion of Barbara Hulbert. Predeceased by brothers John (Evelyn) Bepko, Michael Bepko, Jr. and Anna (John) Dolyak. Loved by several nephews and nieces.
Cooking was his passion. Frank had worked at the Algonquin Club as a head cook for 25 years, was a chef at several upscale country clubs, the head chef for the Executive dining room at St. Vincent's Hospital and Head Chef at Nordens in Norwalk, CT.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, February 22,2023, from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 23 rd at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist 364 Mill Hill Ave Bridgeport for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint John's Church or Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
