Francis A. DeCostanzo, age 64, of Stamford, beloved husband of Mary Winfield, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016 in Beth Israel Hospital, New York. Francis, a Data Scientist Consultant for BNP Paribas Bank in New York City, was born in Queens, New York to the late Nicholas and Concetta (Catroppo) DeCostanzo and has been a long time area. Francis was a graduate of Huntsville High School. He earned a BS from the University of Alabama- Huntsville and earned his MBA from the Owen School of Business at Vanderbilt University. Francis enjoyed history, especially Civil War and WWII veteran's history. He also enjoyed music and to travel. Survivors in addition to his wife include his children, John Bailey of NY and Sarah Winfield of Alaska, a brother Stephen DeCostanzo, a sister Elaine DeCostanzo (Anna Beth) all of GA, nieces, Lauren Winfield, Emily Winfield, and Ashley Winfield of Southbury, CT and a niece Kori Orr of TN. Funeral services will take place on Friday November 4 ^th at 10:45 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 11:30 in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church Trumbull for a Divine Liturgy with office of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4- 6 pm Panachida at 4:30 p.m.
