Francis P. Caserta age 80, of Stratford, died Sunday, January 20, 2008 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport January 19, 1928 to the late Anthony and Florence Massotta Caserta he has been a life long area resident. Frank was a veteran of the US Navy during WW II and was retired from the Town of Milford where he was a teacher at the K-Avenue School. He loved to work for his uncle at Augie's Fruit and Produce in Bridgeport when he was on his summer break from teaching, and after retirement he drove for Hy's Livery Service. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Bridgeport and his Masters Degree from the University of Connecticut and was a member of the Connecticut State Teachers Association. Frank was an honest, caring and devoted individual to his family and friends and will be greatly missed by Loretta DeLorenzo Caserta and their three sons Anthony Caserta and his wife Laurie of Stratford, Andrew Caserta and his companion Nancy of Stratford and Cory Caserta and his wife Jennifer of Milford; his cherished grandchildren: Andrew, Stacey, Anthony, Laura, Maxwell, Alexis and Emma; his brother Anthony Caserta and his wife Barbara of Trumbull and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 9:15 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Grace Church Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with Full Military Honors will be in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
