Frances Madeline Olsavsky Dina, age 92, of Stratford, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2006 in her home. Born in Bridgeport to the late John and Mary Najmik Olsavsky, she was a resident of Fairfield for 31 years moving back to Stratford last year. She was a full-time mom who was dedicated to raising her three daughters. She was a skilled sewer, baker and gardener. Mrs Dina was a member of the Ladies Guild, and bowled with the Holy Name of Jesus Ladies Guild. She was the widow of Joseph Dina and is survived by her three daughters Martha Dina of Stratford, Judith O'Hara of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Sharon Dina of Milford.; six grandchildren Michael O'hara, Kathleen O'Hara and husband Michael Seaton, Timothy O'Hara, Sara Jane Curwen and husband Richard Schneider, Jason and Stephen Curwen; three sisters Mary C. Olsavsky of Stratford, Ann Janosko of Greenville, N.C. and Catherine (Kitty) Olsavsky of Bridgeport; several nieces and nephews, godchildren and cousins. She was pre-deceased by sisters Helen Poole and Regina Janosko and brothers John and Emry (Elmer) Olsavsky. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:15 A.M. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford and at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Name of Jesus Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 5-7 P.M. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions in Frances' memory be made to a charity of one's choice.
