Florence A. Plude Osborne, 94, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday February 20, 2018 with loving family by her side at St. Joseph's Center in Trumbull. She was born in Bridgeport, CT on December 22, 1923 to Cecil and Anna Plude. She was a long-time resident of Seymour, CT, an avid shopper and enjoyed spending time with her family. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Osborne. She is survived by eight of her nine children; daughters, Florence (Richard) Larkin, Barbara (Robert) Hanock, Beverly (Peter) Northrup, Katherine (Steve) Scullion; sons, John (Pam), Charles, Ronald (Siobhan), Robert (Deborah) Osborne; twenty-nine grandchildren; fifty-one great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by five sisters, Lillian, Gladys, Ann, Ruth, and Betty; two brothers, Ronald and Walter; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, William A.Osborne; daughter-in-law, Sonya Osborne; granddaughter, Jennifer Osborne; sisters, Alice and Irene; brothers, Francis, Eugene, Norman, Mickey. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Center and Vitas Hospice for their loving care. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 24 ^th at 10 a.m. meeting directly at Lordship Community Church 179 Prospect Drive Stratford. Entombment will follow in St. Michael's Garden Mausoleum. Friends may greet her family on Friday from 4-8 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
