Florence C. Osborne Larkin, 82, entered into eternal rest on February 10, 2025, with her loving family by her side at St. Joseph's Center in Trumbull. She was born in Bridgeport, CT on January 9,1943, to William C. Osborne and Florence A. Osborne.

Known affectionately as "Ossie," Florence was the heart of her family. As a devoted wife, the eldest of nine siblings, a loving mother of five, a proud grandmother, and a cherished great-grandmother, she embraced each role with pride and unwavering love. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome in her home, offering love, kindness, and always a cup of coffee at her kitchen table. No matter how large her family grew, she made sure each person felt loved, valued and never overlooked.

Florence is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Richard Larkin, her high school sweetheart and lifelong partner. Their love and devotion to each other remained strong until the very end. She is also survived by her five children: Sally (Billy) Green, Richard (Lisa) Larkin Jr., Darren (Kim) Larkin, James Larkin, Christopher (Sandra) Larkin. Her grandchildren: Darren Larkin Jr., Kristen Phraner, Rebecca Larkin, Daniel Larkin, Tyler Larkin, Amanda Green, Kayla Aponte, Cameron Larkin, Rachel Larkin, Cassandra Larkin, Samantha Larkin. And her nine great-grandchildren with one on the way, along with two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her loving sisters: Barbara Hanock, Beverly Northrup and Katherine Scullion and her brothers: John Osborne, Charles Osborne, Ronald Osborne. As well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers William and Robert.

Ossie's warmth, generosity, and deep love for her family will be missed. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and the simple joy of drinking coffee around the kitchen table, where love was always served.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 18th at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly at Lordship Community Church 179 Prospect Drive Stratford. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
