Florence V. Jordhamo, age 84, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Peter T. Jordhamo, passed away on December 13, 2020 in her home. Florence was born in Bridgeport on August 6, 1936 to the late John and Mary (Sarnik) Vrabel and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Harding High School. Florence was co-owner of the Kent Market working alongside her late husband. Survivors include her devoted daughter, Lisa Kosinski and her husband Glenn of Fairfield, 3 cherished grandchildren, Michael Kosinski of Fairfield, Katie Roessner and her husband Ryan of Stratford, and Leanne Kosinski of Chicago, great-grandchildren, Mia Rose, Ethan Peter, and Quinn Rose, her friend, who was more like a sister, Elaine Kosh, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Florence was pre-deceased by her brother, Robert Vrabel. Florence was best known for her cooking. Feeding her friends and family was her passion—never taking "no" as an answer when it came to second servings. Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the theAdzima Funeral Home – Stratford.
