Florence E. Bailey, age 81, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Roger Bailey, passed peacefully May 28, 2018 surrounded by family. Florence was born in Ansonia on September 9, 1936 to the late Stanley and Frances Rzasa and has been a lifelong area resident. She is survived by Lenny and Ed Rzasa and predeceased by Mary Bomba and Rich Rzasa. Florence worked and retired from the Vishay Company. A sports enthusiast, she enjoyed watching the UConn Huskies. She loved visits to the Cape, walking in her neighborhood and gardening. Florence was a board gamer and hummingbird lover. She was an incredible Mom and Grandma. She was fondly called Gee and Grammie by her grandchildren, who put the sparkle in her eyes. Survivors include her devoted children, Edward Bailey and his wife Fiona of Monroe, Patricia Miller and her husband Tim of Stratford, her grandchildren, Mac, Matt, Lexi and Erynn, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home-Stratford. Donations may be made in memory of Florence to the A-T Children's Project, 5300 W.
