Filomena C. Scioletti, age 77 of Stratford died Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in her home with her loving family at her side. Born in San Michele, Italy to the late Ferdinando and Angelina Renzulli Cotone. Filomena had a wonderful childhood growing up in Italy and has resided in Stratford for many years. She was the widow of Maurice J. Scioletti and was a homemaker and seamstress for her family and many friends. Survivors include her beloved children Maurice Scioletti and his wife Pamela of Stratford, Rosemarie Scioletti Saldanha of Fairfield and Angela Nevells and her husband Alan of Stratford; her Cherished grandchildren: Karen Scioletti, Alan Nevells Jr, Michael Nevells, Tristan Saldanha, Austin Saldanha and Maurice J. Scioletti II; a sister-in-law Jane Cotone and several nieces and nephews. 2 brothers Ramano and Ettore Cotone predeceased her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 11:00 am in Holy Name of Jesus Church Stratford. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Calling hours have been omitted. The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Charles Kochan and the Vitas Inovative Hospice Care for the care given to their mother in her last days. The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, Commerce Drive, Fairfield or to Holy Name of Jesus Church, Barnum Avenue, Stratford.
