Evelyn E. Seres age 57 of Stratford, died on Thursday April 12, 2007, in her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport to the late Joseph and Emily Margavitch Cantafio, she has been a lifelong area resident. Evelyn worked part-time for Harvey – Hubbell and was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church in Stratford. She was a member of the Our Lady of Grace Choir and Loyal order of the Moose. Survivors include her beloved husband Joseph Seres III; two devoted sons Joseph Seres IV and his wife Patricia of Oxford and Bryan Seres and his wife Christine of Trumbull; a granddaughter Magdalena Seres; a brother Frank Cantafio and his wife Donna of Shelton; a nephew Steven Cantafio and niece Renee Cantafio. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Robert Folman and his Staff, Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center and Connecticut Hospice for their excellent care given to Evelyn. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 16, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church for on a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Evelyn's memory to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital Memorial and Honor Program 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
