Ethel G. Kochiss, age 96, of Stratford, the beloved widow of John M. Kochiss, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in the care of the Jewish Senior Services in Bridgeport. Born in Boston, MA on December 15, 1919 to the late Joseph and Margaret (McGee) Hunt, and has been a lifelong Stratford resident. Ethel is survived by her devoted daughters, the Honorable Deborah Kochiss Frankel and her husband Attorney Robert Frankel of Monroe and Sandra Kochiss of Stratford, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Hunt, and sisters, Dorothy Gogan, Evelyn Malfy, Marie Hunt and Marjorie Hunt. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 8:30 am in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 9:30 am in St Mark Church 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 pm. .
