Emma A. LaProvidenza, age 87, of Milford, formerly of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Dominick LaProvidenza, passed away on April 23, 2024, in her home. Emma was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on February 21, 1937, to the late Michael and Anna (Matzak) Hanish and had been a longtime area resident. She retired from the Brooklawn Laundromat.

Survivors include her devoted daughters, Debra Perrotti and her husband Michael of Milford, and Tracy Zarrillo of Hamden, 4 cherished grandchildren, Zachary and Alec Perrotti, and Cole and Marley Zarrillo, sister, Madeline Bredice and her husband Raymond, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Emma was pre-deceased by her brothers, Charles, Michael, Nicholas, Frank, George, and Joseph Hanish, and sisters, Anna Hanish, Helen Welehorsky, and Margaret Dempkowski.

Visitation on Tuesday, April 30th from 5-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Funeral services on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 9 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport. Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
