Emily Przekop Joyce Martin, age 94, of Stratford, beloved wife of Joseph Nova Martin, passed away on June 15, 2017. Emily was born in Bridgeport on July 17, 1922 to the late Emilia and Ignatz Przekop. She was also pre-deceased by her sister, Helen Dziejma, and three brothers, Ignatz, Michael and Peter Przekop. She worked for Sikorsky Aircraft in the Kit Department and Cost Accounting. Emily was a charter member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and an inactive member of the Marian Guild at Our Lady of Grace Church. In addition to her beloved husband, survivors include her son and his wife, Nova J. Martin and Sharon of Virginia, and her daughter and husband, Donna and Tom Stuart of Milford, four wonderful grandchildren, Nova Jr. and wife Emily, Corey, T.J. and Colby, and three wonderful great-granddaughters, Hannah, Sarah, and Carolyn and many nephews and nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 21 ^st at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church 498 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet Emily's family on Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
