It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Rose Lebinski, age 92, of Newtown CT, formally of Stratford and Fairfield on March 25, 2025. She was the daughter of Frank and Theresa (Huber) Slovensky.

Betty was the beloved wife of the late Francis Lebinski.  She is survived by her sons, John Lebinski and wife Brenda of Newtown, CT and Paul Lebinski and his wife Karen Evans of Beacon Falls, CT.  She was the most loving grandmother to her 3 grandchildren, Victoria Lebinski and husband Sean Matschke, John Lebinski, Jr., and Sofia Elizabeth Lebinski, all of Newtown CT. She recently welcomed her great granddaughter, Camren Elise Matschke. She was predeceased by her son, Francis Lebinski, Jr.

Betty was a graduate of Roger Ludlow High School and New Haven State Teacher's College. She spent many years teaching for the Diocese of Bridgeport.

Betty and Fran enjoyed years of summers at their home at Lake St. Catherine in Vermont as well as yearly ski vacations with their children and grandchildren. Those are the memories the family will treasure forever.

Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home-Stratford.
