Elizabeth "Betty" Jencso passed quietly on Sunday, July 17, 2016 in Trumbull. Born on January 19, 1926, Betty spent her life in an around the East Side of Bridgeport. From Harding High she went to the production line at GE on Boston Ave and often spoke of Jack Welch walking and talking to the line. Betty was caretaker to her parents for many years. She loved Beardsley Park, Pleasure Beach, Barnum Festival parades and fireworks and "abietz." Most especially Betty loved to spoil her nieces and nephews, their kids, and their kids' kids, who will all miss her dearly. Betty is survived by: Her Nieces: Susan Soltesz Pfannkuch of Stratford, CT, Dian Soltesz Vince of Trumbull, CT, and Angel Soltesz, widow of her deceased nephew Joseph Soltesz, of Stratford, CT. Her Grand Nephews: Al Pfannkuch, his wife Tricia; Sean Pfannkuch; Scott Pfannkuch, his wife Tammy; and Jay Soltesz; Her Grand Nieces: Lisa Anderson, her husband Chip; Andrea Franklin, her husband Andrew; Karen Gusch, her husband Freddie; Kym Pfannkuch Festa and her husband Stan; Caraline Vince and Georgia Vince; Her Great Grand Nephews: Drew Franklin; Jordon and Kurtiss Gusch; Jack and Josef Pfannkuch, Michael and Robert Russell; Great Grand Nieces: Alyse Franklin; Andie Pfannkuch; and Sarah Russell and Great Great Grand Nephew: Dean.Betty was predeceased by her brother John; Parents Elizabeth and John; Nephew Joseph Soltesz, and her sister, Susan Soltesz. Funeral services celebrated by Rev. Chip Anderson will take place on Saturday, July 23rd at 11 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
