Elizabeth "Betty" Mizicko Gilbert, age 91 formerly of Easton passed away on Tuesday January 19, 2010 in Cambridge Manor Health Center, Fairfield. Mrs. Gilbert the widow of Michael Gilbert Jr. was born in Pawlet, Vermont to the late John and Elizabeth Mizicko and has been an active and proud resident of Easton for over 50 years. Betty was and avid gardener and loved flowers but most of all loved her close-knit family, which was the joy of her life. Survivors include her beloved daughters Bunnie Hovan of Trumbull, and Michele Gilbert of New Haven and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was pre-deceased by her sisters Anna Kopchik and Mary Kuruc. Funeral services will take place on Saturday January 23rd at 10:30 a.m. in Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with Very Rev. David Cochran officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 p.m
