Eleanor Stella Basso Corallo, age 86 of Claremont New Hampshire, formerly of Bridgeport, the widow of Fred Corallo, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Born in Bridgeport to the late Victor and Rose (Thayer) Basso, Eleanor was a lifelong area resident until moving to Claremont 5 years ago. She was retired from St. Joseph Manor in Trumbull where she worked in the food service department. Survivors include her beloved daughter Rosemarie Cavaliere of Claremont, NH, two devoted grandsons Frank Cavaliere and his wife Laura of Shelton and Christopher Cavaliere Sr. and his wife Elaine of Claremont, NH, 3 great-grandchildren Ashley, Christopher Jr and Anthony Cavaliere, several nieces and nephews. Her family and the three dogs Snowy, Buttons and Locket will forever miss Eleanor. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to the ICU Department of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for the kind care and compassion given to their mother and grandmother. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 11:30 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with the Rev Reginald Norman officiating. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8PM.
