Elaine S. Macura Trerotola, age 69 of Warrensburg, New York, previously of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 24,2025 in her daughter's home surrounded by her family.

Elaine was born in Bridgeport on November 20, 1955, to the late Edward and Natalie (Mobilio) Macura, and had been a long-time resident prior to retiring and moving to New York 3 years ago. Elaine loved cooking, throwing parties and being with and spoiling her grandchildren. Elaine was also a caregiver who spent many years caring for family in their time of need.

Survivors include her devoted children, Anthony Trerotola, Gina Fuentes and partner Epifano Torres, cherished grandchildren, Mikey, Vinny, Jayden and Olivia Fuentes, Mason Trerotola and Neli Torres, sister, Natalie and Charlie Teixiera, nieces, Jennifer Ostravage and Taylor Alves, nephew, Joey Alves who she treated and raised as her own, and many more nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her sister, Donna Alves.

Visitation on Thursday, August 28th from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Requiem Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, August 29th at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly at The Carpatho- Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist 364 Mill Hill Avenue Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
